At weekends, a trip to Ngor Island is a must. Accessible in just a few minutes by boat, this car-free haven is home to a community of artists who will introduce you to Senegalese teranga.

Les Almadies features a rich and varied gastronomic offering, from fresh seafood and fish to specialties from around the world. Renowned restaurants include (among others):

Located 60 km from Dakar, the airport can be reached in around 50 minutes at night (most international flights arrive at night). During the day, allow between 1h15 and 2h, depending on traffic.
